via our website. We do not sell, share, or rent this information
to 3rd parties. The information obtained at Scrapbook-Bytes.com
is used strictly for the purpose it was collected for and nothing
else. This, for example, is why sign up for the newsletter is different
than signing up for the boards as this is an opt in feature of the
site. Some visitors who are not registered to our forums may want
the newsletter and vice versa.
Scrapbook-Bytes.com will not disclose personal or business/company
information to any of it's Design Team or 3rd parties unless permissions
has been received from you personally - and only with a statement
of what and why. Scrapbook-Bytes.com may disclose or exchange collecting
information only if in good faith the law requires us to do so or
if it is necessary to protect the rights of the Scrapbook-Bytes.com
site or users.
Reasonable measures are taken to ensure all information disclosed
is protected and secure. However, Scrapbook-Bytes.com is not responsible
for any breach of security or for any actions of any third party
who receives this information.
All users have the option of not receiving emails from the message
board... this will hide your email address from other users of the
site and will not allow others to send you emails. Any emails sent
from the site (ie: Tell a Friend, from a users profile, etc.) are
not logged.
Cookies/IP Addresses/Log Files
The information collected from our message board/ site/ gallery
via this process is used for tracking of user demographics, visitor
tracking, ease of staying logged into the site (message board/forum),
and system administration. Collection of IP addresses is also
a vital tool for Scrapbook-Bytes.com if ever the need arises that
a user is to be banned from the site. This ensure the safe environment
we strive to uphold at Scrapbook-Bytes.com.
Cookies are also used to track advertising click throughs and
/ or product tracking.
Some visitors may want to turn cookies off. To do this, turn
off your cookies by accessing the "accept cookies" option

Age - Children
Under 13
Users are required by law to be 13 years or older to use our message
board (in turn the gallery and elements for download). If you enter
your birthday information without the year included - your message
board registration will go unconfirmed until the site adminstrator
requests verification of your age (ie: year of birth). The information
collected for verfication (ie: year of birth) is not added to your
profile and is kept entirely confidential. The information disclosed
to us is merely checked and deleted from our email. At that time
a user is sent their confirmation. Scrapbook-Bytes.com is not responsible
for any individual who does not comply with this term and/or who
portrays a person above 13 years of age in order to access the site.
Contests / Challenges
All contests and challenges are completely voluntary. Contest/Challanges
which require voting by Design Team Members for possible publication
in our Digital Magazine, the users username and layout are the only
information available to Design Team Members. The email address,
mailing address, city, state, zip or phone number will only be collected
if the particular site contest/challenge will issue a prize. In
this instance - the website Adminstrator, Amy Edwards, will be the
only one to collect this information unless it is openly and willingly
given to another member. We are not responsible for information
given on a user's own free will and/or how this information is used
if given to anyone other than the Adminstrator.
Newsletter
Our newsletter is currently an opt-in only option. A user may choose
to unsubscribe from this newsletter at anytime. All information
(email addresses) are kept confidential and private and available
the website adminstrator only. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter
either via our home page or through the last issue you received.
There will always be an "unsubscribe" option in every
issue that is sent to users.
Notification
of Changes
Any change to this policy will be announced on the main page, forum,
and gallery of our site. All new text will be highlighted in bold
text to differentiate the added content and to allow users to find
what is new faster.
Disputes
Scrapbook-Bytes.com is not resonsible for any layouts or content
uploaded to our gallery. Any disputes with regards to content in
the gallery are to be addressed and kept between the parties involved
via phone, mail, or email.

By using this site, you signify your consent and agreement to the
Scrapbook-Bytes.com privacy policy and all that it contains. If
