Question Digital Newby

Hello There!
Gosh...I have spent a few hours looking around.
What beautiful artwork.
I am a newby when it comes to digital designs.
I have the basics, I think {haha}
How do you make these wonderful pages?
What program do you use?
How do you get a photo into the premade pages that have frames attached?
I will definitely have to read up on all this...
Thank You For Sharing Such An Amazing Talent.
Have Good Dreams~Always

#1: Welcome!!!

#2: I use adobe photoshop cs3

#3: What program do you use? For the "quickpages" that are already put together...you open the quickpage and then open your photo, drag the photo onto the quickpage and put it on a layer below the quickpage, resize and fit to the "window"

hope that helps a little...you can browse through the tutorial section for your program and probably get a lot of questions answered! Digital Scrapbooking Tutorials | Tutorials/Articles

Hi and welcome to SBB, Penny. This is a great place to learn, share, and most of all have fun. I use Photoshop Elements 6.0 for my pages but there are several out there. Most of them have free trial downloads too, so check their websites.

Welcome! I use Paint Shop Pro 10, but the most recent version is 12 -- you can download a trial version at http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satelli...1#tabview=tab6. You might be able to find an older (and cheaper) version on ebay or such. Like I said, I use 10 and haven't felt the need to upgrade yet. And definitely check out the tutorial section here--lots of helpful info!

Ya'll are wonderful!
How do you make your own papers/embellishments/etc without infringing on copy rights?
Do those programs help make all these beautiful pages?
Have A Wonderful Day! Always

Any graphics program that supports layers- Photoshop, Photoshop Elements and Paint Shop Pro also Digital Image Pro (which has been discontinued but may still be able to obtaina copy) are examples. There is also a free program GIMP that you could try. the tutorials here and at other digital scrapping sites have tutorials that address making your own elements and papers. The bulk of us probably use kits-items made by the many wonderul designers in the scrapping community. There are some free downloads available here at SBB but there was a move in servers so those links may not be working yet. Also many wonderful freebies available on different blogs---check out that forum thread here. Welcome to SBB and the world of digital scrapping- it is great fun and a wonderful way to make internet friends. Any questions feel free to ask.
