I just discovered digital scrapbooking on Thursday. I'd tried paper scrapping but HATED the mess it created and the space it took to store all the paper and stamps and photos and accessories! So, I gave away about $500 worth of Creative Memories supplies and papers and never gave it a second thought.

I've begun post processing my brother's photography as he is getting into the world of wedding photography and was searching for a frame to add to one of his pictures and stumbled, quite by my own surprise, into the world of digital scrapbooking. I've created 3 pages (the very first night after discovering digital scrapbooking) using the ShabbyPrincess free downloads as well as some brushes (gotta look up where they came from) I have had for awhile.

I have attended a photoshop seminar and have taught myself a bunch via podcasts, books, and plain-ole-trial-and-error. All this is done after the kids go to bed, of course.

Thanks, everybody for the warm welcome. Now, I wish there were a way to add to my gallery from a url as I've already upoaded all my pics to flickr... hmm... off to go do it the long way. I've only been scrapbooking for 3 days and already have done 4 layouts! (at night after the kids go to bed)
