hehehehe...I think we all start that way. I guess I would just play and see what you can come up with, with all those goodies!! Welcome to SBB!

I agree with Lori... Thinking back, it took me about two weeks to show anybody IRL the first layout that I made... and now look where I am. Take a peek at the tutorials section, and don't be afraid to ask questions when you get stuck.

Oh... and Welcome to SBB!!!!

I would say pick a kit or a photo that you would like to play with and then do just what Colleen said pick a tutorial and run with it.... Keep it simple at first... If it is easier for you pick a layout that you like and try to copy it. But just play that is the most important part. I started by makeing a few cards so I could just play with stuff... give a shout out if you need help.

You're so welcome Susan.

It is a little frustrating at first if your also trying to learn your program at the same time but just do things bit by bit. Save if there is something that is just not working for you and like the girls said try some tuts. Also chats, forum challenges and just looking around the gallery can help tons on getting some inspiration!

Welcome to SBB and hope you have fun learning this rewarding hobby-art form. I have been doing it awhile and still get overwhelmed because there is so much I want to do and don't know where to start. I find that the challenges are usually my best motivation for starting and getting a LO done.
