You sure can show you layout here.
HERE is a tutorial on how to save your layout to post to the gallery.
Once your layout is saved, go to the gallery and click upload then browse for your page.
If you'd like to post your layout to the forum upload it to photobucket.com and use the img link to post back here. Be sure though to include the link to your layout in the gallery though so we can all leave you some love.
As for buying things in the store. I am not sure if paypal has a euro converter or not. That maybe something you would have to check with paypal or maybe someone else here knows.
Oh and yes...perfectly fine to use the freebies. This is how lots of us got started.
