I am about 1 hour away from Morganton- up where it is more mountainous and much snowier in the winter. I always thought I would move away after high school/college due to the limited opps to earn a living in the arts. I decided to stay and raise my kids here and now have no plans to leave. Thanks to the internet I've been able to be a work at home mom for the majority of their childhood. They are 11 and 15 now.

Welcome from another North Carolinian...though I am almost polar opposite of you..EASTERN NC, about 1 hour from the coast and I love it here too! Someday I would love to go to some kind of digi scrapping event with some fellow NC'ers. Seems like digiscrappers are rare around here!
