Hi everyone!

As you can see im a newbie on the forum! My name is Kate & im a TOTAL photo junkie. I love photos, keeping a journal, & life itself. Ever since i was young photography has been a big part of my life. My parents took lots of photos of my siblings & i growing up; as i got older i was always the one with the camera. Needless to say i have boxes & boxes of photos & journals stacked a mile high.

Now that we live in the digital world i have NO idea how i survived with out it. I have recently gotten more & more into amateur photography even though i have never had any sort of schooling for it & have LOTSSSSSS more to learn.

Im March i got my first pro editing program. I start with Corel psp X, then got adobe psp cs, & jasc psp8. Over the last 6 months i have been nothing but glued to my computer editing photos & trying to learn about how to better use them. (That is if my hand is stuck to one of my digi cams.)

My son & animals are my biggest inspirations, my son mostly, but i wouldnt tell the animals that.=]

A mommy can never have too many cool photos of her baby; furry & non!

My goal is to better my photography skills & i have been looking for the right mentors to help point me in the right direction.

Having no schooling & only getting into this 6 months ago, i am a slight dissadvantage, but im willing to keep up my passion for it no matter what it takes.

Well, sorry for such a long post!! I hope to meet everyone & hopefully learn some new cool skills!!!

I will apologize now for all the silly/easy/stupid questions that are probly in my near future! hahaha
