Photo Impact 6.0

Does anybody know if Photo Impact 6.0 is a good program? A friend has it and I wanted to know if anyone had any feedback on it before I decide whether or not to get it.
Thanks,
Jean

I'm using PhotoImpact 8.5 and I personally think it is the best program bar none...

I'm using PI 8.5, and I love it. It's easy to learn, and I can create just about any elements I want to. PI 10 just came out, so you can probably get a good deal on 8.5. The one downside to PI is that fewer people use it for scrapping compared to Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, and Paint Shop Pro, so there are fewer scrapping-specific tutorials for Photo Impact. I've been able to adapt tutorials written for the other programs, but it requires a willingness to experiment a little. You won't be sorry if you decide to get PI.

PI 6.0

I'm new here, hope it's okay to jump in!

I used PI 6 until about a year ago when I upgraded to PI8. It's great, but you'll find that most scrapbooking tutorials are written for more recent versions of PhotoImpact. My sister was able to find a copy of 8SE on ebay for under $20.00 including shipping so you may want to try that!

I'm very partial to PhotoImpact for scrapbooking. I think it combines ease of use with powerful tools and I really like that combination!
