I;m having CRS, plz help

I thought sure there was a keyboard shortcut to turn a background into a transparency, but for the life of me I can't find it or remember it........

Any help would be appreciated.

Right Click, All
Control, Shift +O

Will let you select the background, convert the selection to an object and then you can modify the transparency of the object by modifying the properties.
