Recently I joined in on a DIP swap Kari organised and it was so much fun I asked her if I could take the idea to PI. So here I am...

This is how it works:
Each person starts the layout in the size they want like 8.5 x 11, 8 x 8 etc. and adds 1 - 3 photos. In a text box off the side they add any information about the picture [like possible journalling].

They then send the beginning layout to the next person on their list in .ufo format for PI so that the next person can move, edit, apply filters, etc. When that person gets the layout, they can move, add, change, but not delete anything from the page. Once they have added and/or changed something, they send to the next person on the list for them to do the same.

The last person to get the layout before it goes back to the owner posts a web version to the gallery after they made their changes. Once complete, then they would send the .ufo layout back to the owner.

Requirements to participate:
PhotoImpact 8 and above [maybe 7 too, but text is handled a little differently I believe]
Ability to send/receive larger files via e-mail but we can also use some server space if need be...

So the first 3 that send me a private message can join this first swap... it is going to be a lot of fun!

Sounds like fun! Oh well, yet another reason to lose the dial up! Maybe by the time you host the next PI swap I'll have made the switch and be able to participate.
