How to make fiber?

I see so many great fibers and those nets (meshes?) and I really want to be able to make them. I hope someone can help me.

Hi Lime,

I use the line and arrow tool (it's in the sidebar menu with the shape drawing tools). Set it to freehand, and then you can just "draw" them on your layout, each stroke will form on its own layer so they can be moved around easily. You can adjust the width of the line, and then using the fill command, fill it in with a texture and use the Web Button Designer to give it some depth and a shadow.
It's a little hard to explain without screenshots, but this is on my list of tutorials to write. I'll be sure and post here to the PhotoImpact board when I've completed this one so you can get more details. Just experiment with the lines and fills to get different looks.
