I've upgraded to PhotoImpact XL and PhotoExplorer 8... any reason I should need to keep earlier versions on my PC?

Because you have excessive hard drive space you need to fill?

You can uninstall those old ones, Kari. I am looking forward to getting PhotoImpact 8.5 [similar to XL] so I can uninstall version 8 and send to my sister in Australia. She is having trouble finding it there. Strangely enough, I can't find version 8.5 up here, either!

By the way, do you ever visit www.pircnet.com? I am completing the Beginners' Workshop at the moment and having a ball!

I wouldn't think there would be any reasons to keep it, I usually uninstall my older versions when I upgrade, the new one most likely will have the same features, plus some.
I'm currently using PhotoImpact 8, have you noticed many differences in the XL version? I just upgraded from 6 several months ago, and hate to spend the $ to upgrade again unless there are a lot of new features.
