Repeat on page?

Hi Ladies,

Can someone please tell me the best way to repeat an item on a page? I am making some papers and want a flower to repeat evenly all over the page. I use PI 10.

Thanks!

copy/paste works fine.. if PI has it, use grids and lockink guides to ensure they are horiz/vertically aligned (if you are going after that look). With PS, this is easy since you can setup the guides and lock to them.. Also, if you can use layers and link them, you can duplicate and then just slide them down evenly.. agian, easy to do in PS, but I"m not sure how these things work in PI.

Once you have your item highlighted, click "duplicate" under object.

The quickest way would be to make a image with the flower in it (for example a 100x100 or 200x200...depends on how big you want the flower on the page, then Edit/Copy, Edit/Fill - Image Tab - make sure clipboard and tile the image are selected, and then hit OK.

This only works when you want the flowers to be evenly distributed across the page.

Thank you ladies. Jeri - that is exactly what I wanted to do and it worked great. I had been either cutting and pasting or duplicating. It would then take me forever to align all of the objects.

Thanks!!
