Wow $19.99 sounds like a great deal. I got an offer in the mail to get 11 for 39.95, but I am pretty sure you have to download the upgrade (Not like getting a cd and installing it from that) And I have the slowest dial up internet ever, and I figured I wouldn't be able to. (I tried to download just the 30 day free trial and I couldn't even do that)

I think we may end up getting 11. I have my DH using our PI 8.5 all the time for his advertising for his business and he is used to it so I think we'll stick with PI just upgrade so hopefully it stops crashing on us.

I don't like to download for some reason. I feel better having the CD in hand. :-)

I agree. Luckily it hasn't been an issue with my new computer, but with my old one, I was re doing the hard drive on it every couple of months. If I didnt have a cd version of my PI 8.5.....I would have lost it I guess.

All I know is that I had 10 and upgraded to 11 ~ opened the program and geez it looks totally different So I really haven't done much with it.

Another thing - it may be time to reformat - how long has it been?

I was really torn about spending over $100 CAN on PI 11, so I bought a fully functional license for PI 11 off of E-Bay. The entire process was smooth and easy - but I was sure dissappointed with the program - I have went back to using PI XL - LOVE it way better!! I found that the new features were ones that I would rarely use - I am sure glad I only spent $10 instead of $100!!

Just my opinion!
