Here's a tut written for PI7, but I think most of the tools are in the same places in version 10: http://www.debisty.com/tuts/pi7-where/where.htm Also, there is a great, free beginner's workshop offered at http://www.pircnet.com/ . I went through the beginner's workshop last year and even though it's not geared toward scrapbooking, it's a great overview of the program and I've used most of the techniques learned there on at least one layout.
And if you have questions about specific scrapping techniques, this is a great place to ask questions.
