Altering Ribbons in PIXL or PI10

I wonder if someone could do a tutorial on altering ribbons in PI, i.e. squnching them together, folding, knotting, etc. I have played and played and played with this program and cannot seem to figure out how to do this.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sharon

Hi Sharon,

I'm a newbie to PI8, but in PSE2 we use the shear filter. I thought I saw it in PI. This gives the ribbon a realistic flow over your page, or you can bend it for a tag. You can use the distort > pinch filter to make the ends smaller where they go into the knot of a bow. As far as the knot itself, I just worked until I got one knot (modified triangle of sorts) basically the way I wanted it (using the burn tool for shading) and then layer that on top of some pinched ribbons...and add the loops. I hope someone else has a better way (other than scanning lol). If not, this will get you started, I guess.
