Kari, personally if you already have XL, I don't think 10 is really much 'bang for your buck'. I think it is worth it for 8 and earlier.
If you see it on sale or with a rebate being offered, then perhaps that might be worth considering, but my sense is the added features aren't worth the cost of a whole new program...

upgrade to Photo Impact 10
I recently upgraded from XL to 10 and I am very pleased.
I agree that its not very different, but some of the things I really like are: I find it much faster - it opens much quicker on my machine that XL. The changes to the PhotoFrames are really nice and I use it a lot. I bought and upgrade onlione and it was extremely affordable at www.ulead.com :-) Leonora

Agree upgrade from 8 to 10 well worth it
I have recently upgraded to version 10 & think it's well worth the cost, don't know enough about XL to make a comment

I am so happy to hear that you like 10. I have 8 and it takes forever for it to open on my computer. I have been considering upgrading, but wondered if it was worth it. I really appreciate the info I found here. Thanks.

I wonder if 10 makes a difference in load time from XL... I might find it worth it just for that!
