I have some elements I'm going to share on SBB, but I'm running into file size problems. Some of the files are very large when saved as pngs--for example, a file with a few slide mounts is more than 5 MB!

I've tried using the image optimizer to reduce the file size. When I change the setting from true color to 256 optimized, the transparency is lost even when the transparency box is checked. Using 'save as' and choosing png gives me the same options. Is there something I'm missing?

what program are you using? I probably wouldn't lower the quality settings too much
and could you separate the slides so they could be 2 smaller files rather than one huge file?

Sometimes adjusting the Soft setting will bring down the file size.
