Have you ever sat and talked on the phone and doodled on a piece of paper? Over the next 2 weeks we are going to doodle away!
You can use either a Pen Tablet or simply draw the doodles on a piece of paper by hand with a pen or marker. Easy peasy!
Doodles by hand:
1. Scan the page, 300dpi. Save as jpeg.
2. Open file > use magic wand tool to highlight the white spaces, then delete it.
3. Clean up stray pixels by either adding another layer under your doodle and filling with a bright pink to show the strays or adding a stroke (default settings) to the whole doodle.
4. Erase the stray pixels. Enlarge as necessary.
5. Delete either the bright pink layer or the stroke.
6. Duplicate the doodle > layer properties> multiply to make it darker. Merge the layers.
7. You may also go to filters>noise>median and play with the settings until the lines look clean.
8. Save your doodle as a png. file. Do not click the box “interlaced” as this setting is for web designers only.

ok- what does BUMP mean here? lol, i keep seeing it! Good luck on the challenge everyone. No scanner or pen tablet for me so Im out, but it sure looks fun!

It took me a long time to figure it out too! It just is a way of getting this forum thread to the top of the "Today" list. All new threads go to the "Today" or 24 hour list. They expire if no comments or posts are added within the 24 hours...clear as mud????
