Not at all pleased with my tear, but I just couldn't let you down, Raylene. I think knowing in the back of my head that I had templates for this that I knew would look better didn't make me try as hard. Anyway, I love my lo and thanks for the challenge.

This one really stretched me and although I clearly need more practice, I know that I will continue to work at it because I love tears on a page.

An Amazing Romantic

Mine is here for this week!

I think the secret is to shorten up the brushes... and change the angles as you work... in PS, go to upper right hand corner and click on Brushes > brush tip shape. In the bottom left corner of the pop out window, there is a circle with 'crosshairs' on it with an arrow. Swivel the arrow around and see your brush change angles. Vary this and you will see more natural 'tears'

Hey hey!! Here is mine

I think that it looks a little cluttered and I'm not so happy with my deformations on the page turn. I'm using GIMP and so I don't have that nifty deformation dohicky. Anyway...there it is.

Mine is probably too late but I couldn't not share after my hard work. I see now why I don't make my own torn paper - it's hard. But I am quite pleased with the results.
