I have a question and a confession!

Since this is the "In Search Of" fourm I thought I would ask here as I am searching for the ability to take 300ppi images and somehow make them come out looking decent into those itty bitty, teeny tiny little blinkies! I find it darn near impossible!
I can do blinkies if I start out with new images that I created at a small resolution or use items designed for web designs.

Does anyone know the trick? It doesn't seem to matter if I build the blinkie large and resize them smaller or if I try to resize the elements first and then try add them to a MUCH SMALLER image! This is killing me girls, I used to make web graphics for my sites but I also was only using 72ppi images not our whopping 300ppi images.

Do you know of a tutorial for working with our graphics and the tricks of the trade?

Dig out your CS2 and use the "save for web" after you have created them full size.
It does a much better job than creating them small to start with.

Also if you convert them to smart objects before resizing you might find that helps too.
