Thanks for all of the ideas. Although I've been a digital artist and photographer and professional album designer for over ten years I've struggled with how to make simple scrapbooks using simple ideas. I make it way too hard. Thanks again for taking time to pass along the list.

I can't take credit for this idea, but I am working on an album that has one page for each of the fun things to do in my city (mine is an ABC but it doesn't have to be). I thought it would be a great thing to get out when people come to visit. You can see the pages in my gallery.

My friend gave me the idea. She lives high in the Colorado Mts. and her album is on the many things to do around her house (hike, snowshoe, etc.)

I did an album for grandparents day one year, it wasn't a brag book, but more of a tribute to all they have taught us. Having been several years ago now, I still hear about how much she loves and treasures it.

I collected a picture from each of us grandkids and had everyone write a letter to go with it. Letters varied from favorite memories, past times, lists of things they love about them, etc.

I did an 8x8 album, 2 page spread per grandchild and placed the picture on side and a pocket type page on the other to hold the letters. At the end of the album I did an ABC's we learned from them and used things like N - Nincompoop "Sometimes you are one and sometimes you know one" G - Golden Rule "Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you." L - Liebe "Ich Liebe Dich" (translates to I love you)

Im doing a surgery/hospital album for my daughters surgery. great list! im new at mini albums

I'll add one more that seems to be in our thoughts this time of year....Through the Year Album. Page or pages for each month of 2007.
