Question Tulle Element Needed

I am looking for elements created with tulle for a wedding book I am doing. If anyone has suggestions on how to create or has something they'd want to share, I'd be thrilled and forever thankful! Debbie

I'll have to admit that I haven't looked at tulle in awhile so I may not remember what it looks like up close and personal. But couldn't you make it like you make mesh? I *think* it's looks like a skewed netting (i.e. the holes make diamonds and not squares). So you could draw the threads and then bevel and add a drop shadow.

If I'm way off base or if you need more help, please post again.

Yep that sounds like it would work! The only other thing I was thinking was that tulle tends to be a bit shiny or reflective. Maybe add a diffuse glow to it or use some brushes or something to add a bit of a glow or twinkle to it? Hmmm....sounds like it would be fun to try! Shall we have a pse tulle challenge? ROFLOL. I can't come out to play until later.......

Only thing I can't remember....does it go on the diagonal or straight like mesh? I thought I had some laying around, but I can't locate it. (Story of my life lol.) Anyone?

Was looking for bows or sways that I could lay across the top of my LO's. I've worked a bit with the other suggestions, with varying results....I haven't quite gotten what I'm looking for yet. You have ideas?

How urgent is your need? LOL I might be able to come up with something but I can't promise to have time until this weekend.

Oh and Di, tulle is on the diagonal. I dug out my wedding veil and checked. LOL

I did a quick test in Paintshop Pro 8, with a solid color on a layer, using the free Eye Candy 3 filter on the weave setting with a very small weave and gap setting and got a good netting. Then rotated it by 45 degrees puts it on the diagonal. You can then use the warp grid to move points around to make folds. Seemed to work pretty well in the test but I did't have time to make a full graphic.

Thanks Stacy! I ended up making a "sheet" of it but it looks more like mesh. Back to the drawing board lol.
