Here's my sample. I only did it in 72 dpi and of course you would add some rosettes or something to the ends, but I think it looks a bit like tulle. I used the weave filter like I mentioned above and the warp brush instead of the mesh warp. Be sure to set the shadow depth to zero and turn off the fill gaps in the weave filter. I made a couple of duplicates of the swag shape and moved them each down a little, to make it look like folds in the swag.

I attached the sample but I can tell from the preview if it is going to show and I've never tried an attachment before so I hope it works!

Awesome!

This is awesome, just what I was looking for. You ladies are terrific help. I'm just figuring out filters and brushes and the sort. Let's just say my sample looked NOTHING like this, and I was getting a bit frustrated. Leave it up to you guys to share your vast experience. Thank you!!!!

You're welcome! Forgot to mention that after making and rotating the mesh, I cut it into a circle shape before using the warp brush on it. It may not have mattered, though. And after warping it, you can use a large eraser to clean up the two corners a bit if you want. Since mine was just a sample I left them sloppy. I will probably do some real ones when I get more time. Good luck with your project!

GREAT JOB, MMDM!!!! That is a totally awesome sample! At least somebody had time to play. I'm still itching to play with tulle myself.

Well, I have written a few tutorials but I don't think tutorial writing is really my strongsuit. Might give it it go when I have more time, though. I homeschool, so I can only zip in here for a few minutes every once in a while and for tutorials I need uninterupted time. The only filter I used for this was Eye Candy 3 and it is a free download, because it is an older version. So there is no reason not to get it! Here is a link to one place you can download it from:

Eye Candy 3 for Free

Thanks, everyone, for the compliments on my try at the tulle. Oh, and you can call me Melisa.

Bummer...it doesn't look like its available anymore. When i click on the link it says

"Eye Candy Special Edition, the free version of Eye Candy 3, is no longer available for download. Thanks for dropping in and be sure to check out our other plug-ins, including our newest filter set, Splat!"
