Necessary Fonts for XP

I've learned through the years that having more than the necessary fonts installed will slow you system. I had a list of required fonts for win98, but until today, hadn't been able to find a list of required fonts for XP. Here it is!

Hi!

Your link to the XP list comes at a great time for me as my old pc died about a month ago, taking all of my files with it . Fortunately, nothing important to anyone but me was lost, and I did burn a couple of cds of the things I absolutely needed the week before it died.

I just downloaded The Font Thing this morning, since I have a lot of card software and font collections on cds. But, since I lost my XP files (techy stuff that I found on the web), I was hesitant to install the software on my new pc.

Again, thank you so much for your link!

Kim
