Font tip!

For any of you who submit layouts to be published, some magazines (like Scrapbooks, Etc.) don't like you to use certain fonts (like CK ones). It's made by their competition and all. I had to change a font on a layout they may be using (and did so very gladly!)
Anyway, tonight as I'm scraplifting a wonderful layout, and therefore will not be submitting it, I thought it would be the perfect time to use whatever font I hesitate to use on those I plan to submit. Anyway, if you steer clear of certain fonts for publishing purposes, indulge when you scraplift!

VERY True Margie!!

MM called me last week and asked me if I could make a layout for a certain theme (a paper layout), and she specifically asked me NOT to use CK fonts, which I can totally understand.

Creating Keepsakes sells some fonts that start with CK (like CK Cursive that everyone loves). Tons more of course. I think they all start with CK, makes it easy. I'm not a total font junkie though, so I'm guessing here. Anyway another mag wouldn't want to advertise for them. Kind of a fine line, but certainly makes sense. HTH.

:::ahem::: FONT JUNKIE ON BOARD. lolol!

Margie, that is right, every single Creating Keepsakes font starts with CK. CK Bella, CK Evolution, CK Journaling, etc etc etc.

Sue, MM is short for Making Memories the company, yes, but also for Memory Makers Magazine. Confusing, sorry. lol.

Memory Makers Magazine called me, not MM the company.
