I would like to know, too

Plus, I have always really like the tiled title "scrapbook-bytes". Is this a font or something that was created? I don't believe that I have seen anything like this to download, but I love the look of the tiles text for a title. Suggestions?

Hmmm...I can't help on the "changing" font. But the main title font is from www.twopeasinabucket.com. It's Fudge Brownies. A "yummy" font, eh?

Wink very yummy!

Thank you Suzanne! You wouldn't happen to know the technique that was used to make it look so 3D? The tiles look almost like embossed copper on the title. The only 3D option I have done is drop shadow, LOL. I use photoshop and paint shop pro 7, if anyone knows how on either one info would be greatly appreciated!

For the copper looking SBB logo, I would make small copper boxes, one for each letter. I would apply the same styles and filters to each, which is pretty much trial and error to get a metal look - you'll want to use the bevel and emboss features in PS to give it some 3D depth, and the Satin style for the shine (change the black default to white and see what happens).

To make the individual cut out letters, rasterize your shapes. Choose your font, and place the correct letter layer directly over the metal square layer in the position you want the cut out letter (no repositioning later). With the letter layer selected, go to Select>Color Range (2). Use the eyedropper over the actual letter to select the color. With the ants marching, click OK. Select the tile layer now, not the letter layer, with the ants still marching. Hit Delete. Looks like nothing changed, but if you move the letter, you'll see that the tile has the letter cut out.

Some tips - when working with multiple letter tiles, rename the layer to correspond with the letter that you want to cut out (So if you want "Smile" cut out, you'll need 5 tiles, rename each as "s tile," "m tile," etc. (1)) . Also, use a different color for your letters to make it easier on yourself when selecting the color range.

similar font

and I believe free, is Earwig Factory

I use Photoshop with Eye Candy Filters and that title would be simple to acccomplish using the chrome filter "shiny penny" setting

I can't say for certain if that is how Amy accomplished this look but at first glance, this would be my bet.

generally speaking, you are talking about applying a beveling and shadow to the font . The copper colour could be accomplished by using any metal tutorial (I donated one a long while ago for PS). Once you had the metalic look a simple colour adjustment would take you to the copper tones.
