Zip files are compressed files. You will have to unzip them before you can install them. Luckily, Windows XP has a built in un-zipper. If you can find the files ..
Usually, if you are using Internet Explorer, it will remember the last place you downloaded something to. So, one simple way to find the files might be to download one more, and see the default folder it asks you the put the new file in. I'll bet you'll find your other files there too. If that doesn't work, try searching for all files named *.zip. Search the entire c:\ drive -- ***uming that's your only / main drive. That may take awhile, but when the list comes back, you can sort by date and probably find them that way too. If you have to do that, and need more detailed instructions, just let me know.
Now, once you find them, I would move them to a special folder, particularily if they are in your FONTS folder. Maybe make a special folder on your desktop called ScrapFonts. Then, double click on the zip file, and XP should ask if you want to extract the files in the zip file. The actual font file will probably be called *.ttf.
Extract all of the ttf files into a special folder. Then, you can decide if you want to install all of the fonts, or not. If you decide to install them, you can do that under start / control panel / fonts. However, some people (me included) keep a lot of the scrapbooking fonts uninstalled, and use software like The Font Thing to view, install and uninstall the fonts. Too many installed fonts kind of trips Windows up.
The Font Thing
I know all of this information was pretty high-level. Let me know if you need more detail on anything.
