The Blender Texture Disk was first released in 2001 and was sold in the Blender store until being released into the public domain. The disk contains hundreds of textures in such categories as metal, cloth, skin, fur and wood. Provided in resolutions up to 10K by 4K, they can used for a wide range of 2D and 3D applications. The textures have an HTML-based interface, which can be accessed online to browse and download individual textures, or the entire contents can be downloaded as a 220 MB zip archive and browsed locally by going to the site.
