Try this link for Persian stuff--I am doing a Persian Wedding Layout. It can probably direct you to different sites, too.

What is it that you are trying to say in arabic?

Islamic phrases, and graphics are usually in arabic. Persian, they would be in Farsi. If, you give me some type of idea of what you are trying to convey, I can look up some places to send you for graphics/calligraphy and also I could email you some brushes that I have in Photoshop format.

Nevermore (sorry don't know your name)

I can't wait to see the Persian layout!

I am Persian and would love to see what you do with the sofreh-ye-aqd!

I am still fooling around with the album but so far, I have done 7 layouts. I have done the tray for the herbs (did all their names in Persian), the mirror (tag is in Persian), The Rubiyat (of course!), the exchange of honey, the mullah, the canopy. Still want to do the signing of the contract and the spread (especially the bread with the congratulations written on it). I have loved learning all about the rites and rituals--this is truly a gorgeous ceremony. I am sorry I missed some photos (at the beginning, someone was swinging around a censor with some herb burning in it--have no idea what that was about).

The album so far http://tinyurl.com/93wza

Your album is gorgeous and you have captured some great ideas (esp the pic of the bride and the groom through the reflection of the mirror.)

You might look at this this website too. You missed someone probably coming down the aisle burning something called esfand- it's to drive away the evil spirits.

Are you doing a layout with just the whole table showcasing all of the items on the sofreh?
