I am looking for a poem of a good length for a speech. My son is one on Saturday and we are combining his first birthday with his Naming Day ( a Naming Day is a christening/baptism without the religion)
I have been searching but I thought I would see if any one had anything they think would work well.

I'd appreciate any help..thanks!

My first tooth
My first smile
My first coos

My first cereal
My first juice
My first vegetable
My first fruit

My first roll-over
My first scoot
My first standing
My first cruise

My first steps
My first bruise

My first year has been fun, it’s true.
There’s so much I have learned,
So much I can do

My firsts will become seconds
And then I’ll be two

I found this at Two Peas, it is entitled "My First Year" and was posted by Holly Cantrell. I am not sure if she is the author or not. I hope this might help you.
