I can't find a tutorial for making torn pages in PS. I have version 5.5. Or else if there are some downloads with torn pages. I tried looking at the link "Stephs torn pages" in a previous post, but it said I wasn't authorized to see it.

I can't help you with PS, but I can tell you a VERY easy way to do it that gives beautiful results. I use DIP10, bt I think you could adapt it easily to PS. Another member shared this with me, and I couln't get over how easy it was, when I thik of the hours I've spent erasing, recoloring, dodging and burning to get the same results! Anyway here goes:
Just tear a piece of solid color (other than white) scrapping paper until you are left with a white torn edge you are happy with. Then scan it with another solid color paper (again, other than white) on top. Then open in your program, select the white torn edges, and duplicate. That's it!!!! When I select the white torn edges, I can also select shades of that color, so I get all the little pixels that look a little less white, giving it a little more dimention. Then you can save this and apply it to whatever paper you choose, erasing what's underneath it and then locking your edge onto that other paper.
