I found this link to some really neat free fonts a while back and thought I'd share it with you. There's all kinds of dingbatty-type letter fonts with all types of shapes and sizes. I've used them before and they seem to be complete as far as letters, numbers, caps and characters.

The site is called The Teacher's Parking lot. There's links all around to different areas with different themed fonts, like bears, circus, stars, cats, dogs and holidays.

I used one, TY Beany bears, for letters spelling out my twins' names. I colored, printed and laminated them for my twins' nursery and they look great.

www.scrapbookscrapbook.com It has a bunch of different sets that you can buy for about $3.00 a piece. BUT if you click on each set a lot of them will have FREE SAMPLES ! I don't know if many of you are like me or not but I just really got going on this and scrapbooking gets really pricey so anything I can get for free I grab at. They have 67 kits so I haven't been able to go through all of them yet but I've been though 30 of them and found only 10 so far without a sample, and some are really cute! Also if my computer has enough room to download these pages anyone's computer should and some of these are background pages! Hope you guys have fun and like this as much as I did! Anyone else got any links?

Alright to anyone of you I'm sure this will sound stupid but it's just because I've never done it before and I see all of you guys mentioning where you find all of these different fonts and such. But when I hit the download button on all of these pages for the fonts that I like all I get is this like sample page that shows maybe one letter in a variety of sizes and then a sentence like maybe the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. this goes up from oh 8 to 72 font say it probably is more but you get the idea. I don't get like a page of letters or anything that I can easily adjust the sizes. Am I doing something wrong? I'm hitting the download button. I've tried just opening it, I've tried saving it. Am I missing a step? I am not getting all of the letters even! What am I missing!

When you double click on the ttf.file after the download this is all you get. In order to be able to use this font you have to install it into your fonts folder in your windows folder. Then you can use the font in all your programs.
