Looking for Dotted Circle Brush

I see them everywhere, those circles of dots. I know they are out there somewhere. Does anyone know where I can find some brushes like that? Free is good. Thanks!

You want the whole circle? Or you just want to make a dotten pattern with one dot in the brush?

grab a circle brush and adjust your Brush Spacing to be really high. Then you can paint dotted lines, or put them closer together to make beads and pearls. Reduce the Roundness to make ovals for belt holes or stitches.

If you have PS, you can create a Circle with the Ellipse Tool as a path, then in the Paths Palette choose your spaced out dot brush and Stroke Path with Brush. You adjust the Spacing and try Stroke again until you get even distribution around the circle, or resize the circle and stroke again.

The free brush is great, sometimes it's nice to make your own so you can get a customized effect. You can make stars or squares, or whatever other dotted shape you want this way. Have fun!

Emma - after I stroke the path with my brush, is there anyway to change the spacing of the stroke (so as to get it evenly spaced around the entire circle) without re-doing the entire stroke?

No, it's a raster brush, so whatver is there is there. Even if you resize the cirlce, your little dots won't move.

If you really want to get technical, after you get the distribution correct, you could select that layer, change Selection to Path, and save the dotted pattern as a custom shape. Then you just drag it out in whatever size or color, whenever you want, always perfectly distributed. But the smaller the cirlce, the smaller the dots.
Learn both SO much useful stuff in PS!!!!
