Punchlabel, am I totally stupid?

Hi,

I don't know whether it is me or the font....
For once I'd like to use Punchlabel or GF Ordner for a look of a, well, punched label. But wouldn't I also want the empty space between the words with a black background? How can I do this? The empty space is always empty!!!! Obviously there must be an easy way to do this, but I can't see it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Rikki-
I use the dymo font found here:
http://dafont.com/en/font.php?file=dymo

Click shift+backslash (above the enter key on my keyboard) to keep the "tape" going between the word spaces.

Here's a LO I did awhile back:

Thanks, Laurie, for the link to Dymo. I managed to get my space, though it is a different key combination on my German keyboard .
I still am intrigued with Punchlabel, so if anybody knows how to do it, please let me know, I'm curious.

I didn't know that Laurie! Thanks for the tip. I usually just left the spaces, and never thought a thing of it! LOL!

I would make a black thin rectangle, and place it behind the label...

I use the full stop, then paint over it.
