I agree, the previews don't do Michelle's kits justice. I have the Time of Your life CD as well and it is awesome! I understand your urge to shop, so many gorgeous kits out there!

You can't go wrong buying Michelle's stuff

Hi there,

I am in no way associated with Michelle Underwood of SBB or SBE... I just LOVE Michelle Underwood's kits. She has a wonderful color sense and she is the designer that I have bought the most from (here and also at SBE).

I just started digital scrapbooking 2 months ago but you can check out all of my layouts on my blog (at http://lifeandsuch.blogspot.com check out archives going back to Feb 2005 up until now. I use lots of Michelle's papers and elements). Most recently I've begun making a Story of Us album about my husband and me using nothing but Michelle's Sweet on You kit.

Another designers that I love is Gina Cabrera. I have used tons of her stuff too. Others that I love are: Anna Aspnes, Denise Dougherty (Neicey, spaceraven.net). I just recently purchased stuff from Mo Jackson and Rhonna Penner but I haven't used these yet.

Hope this helps. Please feel free to send me a private message if you have any other questions. Good luck and most of all HAVE FUN!!

Lisa

Michelle's kits are absolutely great. I have 4 or 5 of her kits. But, so far have only had time to use one! The link below shows how I used her shopping fool kit...

http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com/galle...cat=500&page=2

Her pieces work so well together. You'll see exactly what I'm talking about when you start to buy her kits...
Another option might be to buy the kits and recolor them...you can do this through Photoshop by clicking on Images-Adjustments-Selective color. This allows you to adjust the amount of each color in your elements. A pretty blue and green kit can easily be made into pink and orange. This will allow you to get multiple uses out of just one kit. Many of my LO's use the same brads, tags, ribbons, etc...but they're recolored to fit the LO and the look I'm trying to accomplish. Hope this helps!!!

I am big MUnderwood fan, her Ralphie Kit was the first one I ever bought. Being new to digitalscrapbooking (just 2 months) I am also excited about finding good designers. I have recently discovered Jen Wilson and she is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I have her 'Beautiful You kit' and have already made many great layouts with it - http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com/galle...0&ppuser=18735
I think i made like 4 in one day! I was obsessed

I am fast approaching one year of digital scrapping. I don't think I bought a kit for the first 10 months--there are so many great free downloads I couldn't use the stuff I had. But (you knew there was a but coming, didn't you?) about a couple of months ago I bought a kit. And then another. And another yeah yeah. It is so painless! I have decided to treat myself once a week or so. My favs so far are Tonya Renz and Francine Haman and Mel Violette. Their papers are great but what always attracts me are funky elements. I also like quite a few already mentioned and some that have not been discussed yet. I hate just mentioning a couple--there are just so many fantastic designers.
