New

Hi,

I have just opened my digi-scrap site & after announcing it to some groups that I am a member of and I've been approached by another designer who would like for me to sell some of her kits from my shoppe. What is the general rule of thumb for doing this? How much of a percentage would I take for listing her sets on my site, etc? I would love to know what works and what doesn't in regards to this.

This just sort of fell in my lap and I'm very excited that she approached me with this idea but I admit to being at a loss on how other sites handle this. Any advice will definitely be appreciated!

Thanks so much for providing this forum for those of us needing guidance

Is there a place where we can apply to become a designer for you? I would love to have SBB take a look at my work.

Hi Shannon
We just had a call - info here: STORE CALL: A FEW (and I mean a few) spots available in the SBB store!

You are welcome to send an application to be kept on file however in advance of the next call

Thanks for the link. I went ahead and sent in my application. Do you have any ideas when there might be another call? Will I receive a rejection letter or a letter stating that the application will wait until further notice. I sent it in on Saturday and was curious to know if I would receive any info. Thanks.
Shannon

yes as Dani said; ultimately it is YOUR obligation to contact EACH AND EVERY designer you would like to use work from. Some have already stated packages for commercial use with most them having very up-front terms of use... if they don't - ask!

Using Fonts to Create Alphas

I have created a few alphas but was wondering about the copyright. For example, if I use Arial to make a metallic red alpha that I intend on selling for profit, do I have to purchase a commecial version or is it ok as I have changed it considerably?

Thanks all and I love this forum. It's great!

Dodie
