Photo Retouching

I have the opportunity (hopefully) to start working for a pro photographer retouching her photos. Mostly I would be smoothing skin, removing blemishes, adding vignettes, brightening hair, eyes and teeth, etc. She wants to pay me $3 per image. Can anyone tell me if this seems like a good payment? Keep in mind I don't have formal training in Photoshop, but do have about 10 years experience with it, not a lot of retouching experience though. I don't think her volume is really high, I would be doing approx 5-15 photos a week, I'm just trying to decide if it's worth it. I think it would be a great way to get some experience in the area and learn more about PS! Any input would be great!

I don't know much about this but unless you have additional photo enhancing programs/filters I don't think the price is high enough. Sometimes it can be time consuming to make some adjustments unless you really are familiar with all the different steps. I would suggest trying a couple photos- track how long it takes to make the edits and see if the $3.00 is a fair compensation for the time it took.

Hummm...It really does seem a little low to me also. Retouching can be, at times, really time consuming.
