ok- this has the makings of a Lifetime movie LOL- so bizarre!!!!!

I will definitely continue praying for you also. I know it's frustrating, but try as best you can to keep your cool- you are NOT in the wrong- they are!!!! I'm sure they are trying to get you so upset so that you do something wrong- and they are looking for *something* to find fault with you- because at this point they have nothing.

Thankfully your sister is a police officer!

Thanks for the update- we'll all be waiting for the next chapter in this crazy saga- LOL!

BTW- do the parents know that all of this is going on?

Wow, Wow, WOW!!! Unbelievable! I think you put on your most diplomatic tone, but call other parents on the team to make them aware of what is happening. Theh should be behind you on this! And I would be very surprised if they were not. If you are confronted, they should stand up with you- nothing rude or arguementative, just a united front. That is just utterly ridiculous. I am thinking they are totally blowing smoke, but would be nice to have the masses with you on this. Start a phone chain or call everyone yourself, explain the situation and state that you would appreciate their support if they could. After all, next time, it will be their kids' grandparents being tossed from the ballpark for taking hotos to show all their friends! It's not like you are cutting in on the photos the team photographer is taking! Man, I wish I was there! I have worked with Little League for the last 6 yrs and have never found them to be anything but wonderful! I am so sorry this small group is being so bullheaded and unfair. Good luck to you, I will be praying for patience and that you find the right words.

Well, I just thought of something. What if the parents supplied you with the paper and the ink etc and then you'll give them the prints free? In this case the board would have absolutely nothing against you. From what I understand, their little beef with you is the fact that money changes hands. Whether that be to cover your cost or to make a profit does clearly not matter to them. What if you could work out a deal with the parents to cover your cost in a different way?

I am so sorry to hear it has come down to all this. This is crazy, downright ridiculous. You have the support from all of us. Don't let them get you down.

thiws is the craziest thing i've ever read my life and theres no need for it at all! First of all stop talking about paper and ink...forget about it!!!!!! everyone has email right? just email the files to them, or better yet!!!!!! (why didn't anyone thing of this?!) have you heard of you send it? send everone on the team a link to a file that yuo've uploaded, and they can choose to download it at their leisure. no problems! your making the layout, the parents have a choice, and no money, paper, or ink changes hands. you walk your butt in there and say "ok, sure, whatever man, no problem, i won't print these out for people end of story, sorry for the commotion" oh yes you be the bigger person here. shoot...you could post a picture of the layout on your blog and if they like it, then they can click the link to download it! you don't even have to email people! just give them your blog address! see the solution is getting easier and easier, no more excuses! or as dr evil would say, "stick that in your pipe and smoke it!"

I think they are just worried that you will take money away from their money raising activities that support the league. As far as I can tell there is no LEGAL issue here. To keep everyone happy why don't you add a dollar or so onto the cost and give it to the Little League. You might even be able to negoiate with them to do the picture day photos and other scrapbook pages throughout the season as long as the Little League makes some money on it. Just a suggest. Don't know if they would be interested. But it might keep everyone happy???

I really like that posting it on the net suggestion. but if there different kids they wont all want the same picture. So you could leave the picture blank, and have instructions on how to add a picture, or they could print them blank and just tape in a picture.(acid free tape of course)
What if you get the parents to give you a blank cd and you burn the layout on cd and give that to them. The league will just think its a cd and you dont have to charge anything if they give you the cd. This was they could print more then one.
You could also give the layouts to the parents, and get the money in another location. Like say at the store down the road. This way its no where near the park, so nothing to do with the league.
Like someone replied before offer other layouts so the parents can do different themes and this wont just be targating the league. You could make like a binder and have the parents look through it and give you there pictures and you make them up a layout. As long as your not making money, I dont thing that breaks the kits copyrights.
I dont think you should charge any more for the layout and give the extra money to the league!! The've been nothing but RUDE through this whole thing. Why should then get even a cent!!! Your not making money, your covering your cost. I dont know if this kit was a freebie or not but, if it wasn't you paid for the kit, your taking the time to do the layouts, your going get them printed, your collecting the money, and its your hydro running the computer. Your not using there logo, there pictures, or there time. I dont see how this is got anything to do with THEM!!!

Another way to do it is to have the parent's paypal you, that way the league doesn't see money changing hands.

ok this just might be pointless but what if you give the league the site where you got the kit. Tell them they have to buy it and then they have to get the licence thing to sell them. Because if the proffits are going to them wont they need that licence thingy.(not sure what its called) They just might change there minds once they realize they have to pay.
