I guess I have a question about what exactly they are about? I know what a consignment shop is in the real world....so I'm assuming it's sort of the same thing.

When you have your designs at a digi consignment shop...are there fees for selling there? Is that how it works? Or do they do it where you sell at their site in exchange for the freebies you make for the site and the participation on the boards ie...chats, crops, etc? I'm just trying to figure out how it all works.

Great question. I think all sites differ slightly but here there is a monthly fee with a percentage of sales going to the store.
There are so many stores out there and if you wanted to know their policy you could just email them.

The one that I am looking into offers various amts of server space for a set fee per year and then takes 25% of the sales you do. They paypal you your money 2x a month.
