For those selling kits on-line....

are you truely making any money from them? Are your kits selling over and over or is there an initial rush when it's first posted and then sales dwindle down?

I usually end up creating all my own papers and elements for my layouts and I was just trying to figure out if it was worth my while to put everything into kits for selling.

Thanks for the imput!

I will try to answer a few of your questions...
Kits tend to sell the best when they are 'new' ahhh who doesn't LOVE that new kit smell LOL
I believe there are a lot of variables to the "worth your while" question.
-quality of product
-is there a market for your style
-advertising/marketing

I know there are many more but you get the idea
There is room for everyone and if you love what you are doing and have a passion for designing I would say go for it. On the other hand, there is much more to it than people think especially if you have your own store/site to maintain.
*ps sorry if i don't make sense but flat on my back and on meds from.. ah hem.. too much computer time

let's put it this way, you probably won't be able to support a family. You probably won't be getting rich. It is a lot of work (well, depending on how much you want to put into it) and the initial return is not great. But I agree with Dani, in that, if you love what you do, which I do, it is worth it. I just wasn't prepared for the countless designing hours without the countless sales Hope that helps a bit.
