Scrapheap Challenge until 26th November

Greetings to all you talented artists!

Zin still needs some rest and healing time, so you've got me again this week. The boys' theme last week was fun!

As we are approaching the end of November, let's do a seasonal theme layout this week. We are on the cusp of Winter and Holiday time, so there's plenty of time to scrap about that yet. For now, I would like to see layouts that revolve around what's going on in Nature in YOUR environment at this time of the year.

Have you seen some snow yet? Do you still spot some deciduous trees with some leaves still clinging desperately on? Any squirrels active in your back yard? What about the cold? How cold is it where you are? ... And, for our members in the Southern Hemisphere, what signs of Spring do you see around you and your domain? What flowers grow in your garden? Does it feel more like Summer than Spring?

I hope I've given you some ideas on where to start, for that is our first element in this week's Scrapheap layout:

1) A seasonal element from your environment
2) Seasonal Poem or Word Art
3) Use at least 3 Photos
4) Some Botanical or Natural element, such as a leaf, flower, pinecone, etc.
5) Water

Thank you all for your great suggestions. Now it's time to use those scavenged beauties to build your very own interesting work of scrap art. Away you go!
I have a little something in the works for this week's Thank you, so stay tuned...
Here is your bonus Thank YOU gift for playing this week.... LA GAILLARDE

Must use at least 3 photos. (Hard one for me as I usually scrap singles...however, lately I've been getting better on this one.)

how about using a natural element (ie a leaf or a flower or a pinecone or some such) that goes with your layout (either an extraction or someone's kit)?

Thank you for that great suggestion, Naughtsncrosses! And, since we are already into the 'end' of the week (well, almost!) I will make one more suggestion, and we're off to our virtual Scrapping tables...
Number 5 is... let me see... something that suggests: WATER!
