Many of us have loved ones dealing with Alzheimer’s. My grandmother just passed away and had been living with Alzheimer’s for quite some time. I wanted to do something to raise money in her name and I know that Alzheimer’s is a disease that has no cure, yet affects so many. I’m doing a fundraiser in honor of my grandmother and will contribute the money raised to Alzheimer’s Association. Please visit their site for more information about Alzheimer’s Disease.

What a considerate gesture and worthy cause. With elderly parents, I have this lurking fear of Alzheimers. Know it is a heartbreaking and challenging situation. Count me in.

I'm so glad I saw your ad! My grandfather had Alzheimers for many years as well. It's one of those diseases that hurts the family so much more than the one diagnosed. I am sorry for your loss. What a beautiful tribute.
