This is a thread after my own heart.

External flash, tripod, macro and wide angle lens...

Although I want all that wonderful stuff I'm really after a new camera bag. I love Tamrac camera daypacks, except the one I have is too small now that I've added my zoom lens. Anything else and the bag will burst!

oooh what about that Puffer thing I saw a while ago. It goes over your own pop up flash to give you a softer flash with less harsh edges for the shadows etc...let me see if I can find the link...

here's the link to the product, I don't know where the link to the Digiscrapper who got one went, but it seemed to get good reviews for those who don't have a external flash.

Mono pod. Have a wonderful tripod with a great head on it, but it gets heavy if you are hiking in the mountains.

I would love a macro lens. Also, a gorillapod.

Macrolens for me too.

If you're getting an external flash, you should definitely get some sort of diffuser to go with it, though there are lots of choices.

How about some of those new, trendy, girly camera bags? I can't remember any of the designer names offhand, but I know the products are hot right now.

Hi.. you can build one of these if you have around 30 minutes or so.. I did and it works great for my macro photography and jewelry photos... it is built out of PVC pipe and a bed sheet.. total cost was around $10. Compared to the $95 + the get for these macro studios.. it is really cheap and works well.. Oh and I use ordinary lamps with 6200K floro lamps from Home Depot. The lamps you get with most of these kits are really junky and get very very hot...

Trust me..save the $$ and build one.. check out this link.. http://www.photocritic.org/2005/buil...wn-light-tent/
