A very, very good book for this type of thing is written by Katrin Eismann, Photoshop Restoration and Retouching. It is really great and goes into a lot of detail.

A wonderful website for this type of thing is: http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/
If you check out the site, you'll see challenges, people doing Katrina restoration...you can post your picture and people will play with it and tell you how they did it. It is a lot of fun. I really enjoy looking at the posts on this site. You might want to post your photo there if you still need suggestions. I'd give the book a whirl also, if you think you'll be doing a lot of that kind of thing. Good luck.

Wow thanks everyone for you advice. I scanned the photo at 600 dpi and saved as a PSD file. My BIGGEST challenge is the corner. I so want to learn how to do this.

I'm also going to check out the sites suggested to see how I can fix the corner so that it looks as realistic as possible.

that's not a bad job.. I don't care for how overexposed the last image is... I think you might have gone a bit too far and it looks just way to bright now. The middle photo looks best except for the "dirty" wall... you might try to tone down the brightness a bit and give it another go. Nice job though...
