How to submit photography for magazines

Hi all-
I have had 3 of my photos on the front cover of a magazine in the UK http://www.themothermagazine.co.uk/magazine.html

And it has been fun! But I would like to submit to other magazines as well- has anyone done this? Any tips? I would love to submit some of my scrapping work to digital mags, but have not gone there yet,lol... thanks!
