Canon A620-vs-A700

I'm trying to decide between the two. The 620 has 7 mp (which I realize doesn't make a lot of difference since I won't be printing huge photos) and the 700 has 6 mp.
The 620 takes 4 batteries and the 700 takes 2
The 620 has a swivel screen and the 700 doesn't
Both have the fast DIGIC II processor

I think I'm trying to talk myself into the older 620 version, but am curious if the 700 version is really worth the exra money. It seems like the 700 is missing some of the great features I'm looking for- such as the swivel screen. Some reviews said that the 700 is slightly slower due to only having two batteries.

Has anyone used BOTH of these and can compare the differences for me?

well I can't speak for the 700 but I got the 620 for Christmas and I love it! the swivel screen was must for me as I had a nixon coolpix with that type of screen before! it takes awesome pictures, the night vision feature is awesome! I've gotten many a great dusky picture (see my layout called sleeping... that was taken inside a tent at 9:30 PM!) Sorry I couldnt' compare, but I love my new camera

edited to add..with the batteries.. I can easily get 150-200 pictures per a set of batteries. I have rechareable ones and they work great!

I didn't realize they already had a 700 series out - but I have the 620 and LOVE it! And GRRRR I just checked out Costco.com to see if they had info on the 700 and they have the 620 for $215 - I'm pretty sure I paid $350 in Feb, and that was the cheapest I could find it. Anyway, looking at the specs, the only thing that really seems better to me is the 2x more optical zoom - and 2 less batteries would make it a little lighter. It also has a bigger LCD, though it doesn't swivel. In my opinion, for the price difference, I think I'd stick with the A620. HTH
