This was my first time trying out the manual settings on my camera. I have SO much to learn - and I told my husband last night I NEED a tripod We were not sure we'd get to do any since it started raining not long before dark, and since we didn't have any of the cool ones that shoot up and explode in the sky, I didn't get any of those - its hard getting used to the slow shutter speed - I got 3x as many bad shots!

Not bad! You got some good ones in there! I especially love the rainbow

Everyone did really good - LOL about the slow shutter in a moving car.

Dani, I'm so glad you asked because with my summer vacation getting trashed yet again (whole other story) the biggest thrill for me has been actually getting some good shots of fireworks for the first time in my life!!! I will share them when I get home from work.

Okay, here you go - remember you asked - hehehe. Sorry so many but like I said, this is the very first time I've been able to get such good shots - I LOVE MY NEW CAMERA! Hopefully since I created a slide show with transition and music, you'll find it entertaining enough not to notice that there's 32 pictures. LOL
