Question How do you clean your lens filter?

Hiya!
Some of you may remember my post months ago about how to keep sand out of the camera while at the beach... im happy to say that my canon rebel and two lens survived the week at beach! I went thru so many ziplocks much to the amusement of my family and friends but they did their job, kept the sand out

Now that i am back home i noticed that the filter i had on the lens while at the beach is murky/smudge-y from the salt air (i guess). Could be worse i suppose could be the lens -- anyway... I tried one of those "lens cleaner" kits w/ the solution and the cloth but all that did was make it worse -- any tips on how to de-smudge my lens filter?

THANKS

You might want to try some ethanol on a pec pad... should desolve the salts and make you filter as good as new! Good Luck...

You shoudl also check the manufacturers website of teh filters and see what they recommend
