"The challenge was generally missed!" = the same meaning as "I missed you" not " you miss the point" This is how it was meant!

Sorry for the mistake, I do get things wrong. Please don't get offended! I will try my best and learn English from all of you as we go! Even my DH sometimes forgets and gets upset by something I say, not knowing how well I meant it to sound! I am known to say Thanks a million in the wave of gratitude, and you probably can imagine a face of an American lady, who stopped the bus for me in the tropical rain, and heard thanks a million instead of thanks, I was told it was very rude, but I meant to say I wanted to give her a million thanks for being so kind, noticing me and going to trouble to ask the driver to stop! I hope she realized in the end it was meant well!
Thank you for drawing attention to this matter, no I think we all missed (I miss you) the challenge in general, but now we would be catching up! Ok, Less talking now, back to the cameras! Lights, camera, roll! I hope I got it right
