Here's my work from the weekend visit to my in-laws. I have a Digital Rebel XT and seldom take the camera off Auto.
I've enjoyed all the other photos posted here.
Diane
P.S. These are not pics of my in-laws !!

Awesome talents you all have! Keep the photos coming, look through the older photos and play with cropping, see if it improves them. We have another week! Keep'em rolling!

This cracked me up! What exactly were you looking for? I thought it was closely cropped, good lighting, and what we felt was the 'perfect shot'? Do tell...

I second that, please do tell. I'm an old person so sometimes you may need to draw me a picture.

Foreigner here :)

Those last two messages made me think! LOL! Please, when you read something posted by me remember, I am a foreigner! "The challenge was generally missed!" = the same meaning as "I missed you" not " you miss the point" This is how it was meant! Sorry for the mistake, I do get things wrong. Please don't get offended! I will try my best and learn English from all of you as we go! Even my DH sometimes forgets and gets upset by something I say, not knowing how well I meant it to sound! I am known to say Thanks a million in the wave of gratitude, and you probably can imagine a face of an American lady, who stopped the bus for me in the tropical rain, and heard thanks a million instead of thanks, I was told it was very rude, but I meant to say I wanted to give her a million thanks for being so kind, noticing me and going to trouble to ask the driver to stop! I hope she realized in the end it was meant well!
Thank you for drawing attention to this matter, no I think we all missed (I miss you) the challenge in general, but now we would be catching up! Ok, Less talking now, back to the cameras! Lights, camera, roll! I hope I got it right

No, no Olga. I was not the least bit offended. Just needed some clarification. Seems to me you are doing a fantastic job at learning English. I actually have run across people who do not speak English as well as you and English is their native language. So here's a pat on the back for you from me.

Olga-
No worries at all! I just wanted to know if we needed to do something different. And it is true- many native English speakers have worse English skills than you!

You rock!
